Switching between present day and "the day before the murders", this is a story about Libby, who is trying to make money, and agrees to join the "kill club" who funds her researching the murders of her family. Her brother Ben is in jail for the murders but she soon finds out that not everyone is convinced Ben is the one who murdered their family. Switches perspectives between Libby, Ben, and Patty within the Day family, also switches between present day and day before the murders.

Hmmm. This was something….. I just expected a better wrap up of the story? I like Flynn’s writing. It’s very compelling and hooks you in but I’m not sure about this specific plot. It felt like a book that started well and derailed too much

This thriller had me surprised the entire time! The twist at the end blew my mind, I had never even imagined it but she had dropped the tiniest hints throughout! This was so close to being a 5 star! I might even have to update to a 5 star at some point. My feelings about each character were so complex, I hated and loved them which to me means the author did an amazing job!
