Wasn’t all that interested in Cobey based on his appearances in other books, and I didn’t realize he was bi and everyone knew, so it was kind of surprising that he was totally out. I did expect him to be the typical dumb jock, but he was such a sweetheart with Vincent. This was super cute, but there was really no drama/angst.

I liked the sweetness of this book. There’s a few inconsistencies and one of the characters Cobey is a little too perfect on the one hand to be 19, is a bit of a celebrity but at the same time ridiculed for being as dumb as a bag of rocks. Both MC’a fell pretty quickly - understandable with one as his first romance, but the other I kind of struggled … maybe a rescuer complex.

As well there were two characters who had confusing purposes who I think either needed more of a part to make them more significant or less of a part, so you aren’t wondering what their purpose was.

In all though this is a feel good, enjoyable read.

College romance, tutor v jock trope, different worlds.
