Very sweet (possibly to the point of unrealistic at times). Loved how mature and open they were with their communication. Even their one misunderstanding was short lived and discussed, so that was refreshing.
Loved the jealousy, thought Gavin was unnecessary drama.

3.75 stars. Very fluffy, sweet, and steamy. Classic jock with a heart of gold and virgin nerd who is his tutor love story.
I wasn’t too interested in this series because I generally don’t enjoy college boy books but NR Walker wrote this one and she’s one of my favourite writers. Her writing was great as always.
I loved Cobey. He’s a star football player for FU and he’s out and proud. And everyone’s friend. Vincent is a tutor on campus. He has a brilliant mind but little social experience.
Not gonna lie about this. Vincent was irritating sometimes. He makes several unfair assumptions about Cobey’s friends. That was just a little part though and not enough for me to dislike the story.
I only gave it 3.75 though because again, I am not a fan of college boy stories.
No cheating.
No OM/OW drama
No breakup.
Sweet epilogue.

This book was full of all those sweet, light-hearted and feel good moments. I adore the romance between Cobey & Vincent, they're lovely together. From their first meeting they have all of the chemistry and the developing relationship is wonderful.
All of the lessons, the first kiss between them is so beautiful. The hugs, holding hands, 33 hoodie, meals together, photos, social media and just so much comfort as they teach each other.
Vincent growing more comfortable with people and forming friendship, along with gaining confidence. Cobey realizing his not stupid, being able to learn through football and Vincent's lessons in calculus.
These two have all the supportive and protective instincts for each other, even when they're not so sure on themselves. Always bringing the best in each other, there's a couple misunderstandings but quickly cleared up with help from friends.
I loved how they spend time apart too, get to see them develop as individuals as well - Cobey and football, team. Vincent and his books, friendship with Jayda & Rafe.
Overall this one is perfect for a pick me up, pure soft and cosy story with all the romance and a happy ending. The epilogue with the newspaper clipping, so fitting ✨

I loved this book! Loved both Cobey & Vincent. This book was sweet, light, & very low angst. It had a more mature vibe similar to The Glow Up. I know we all have days where all we want is a short, fluffy, sweet, low-angst, low-drama book and I would say this book is perfect for those days.
Eu tô completamente apaixonada. Meu Deus que livro bom!!!!!! Os personagens são incríveis, os principais e os secundários, a história é ótima. Não tem um super problema pra eles resolverem, só dois caras se apaixonando e desenvolvendo esse relacionamento. Derreti lendo, sou só uma poça no show escrevendo essa resenha.
