The banter was hilarious and hot, towards the end the plot took itself too seriously and I got bored.

Some parts I loved others were hard to follow, they did seem to fall in love, I just really prefer her garron park series

The book is fine but not my thing. The writing feels very Alessandra Hazard, and that author doesn't work for me. I dislike the whole 'everybody and everything is toxic' vibe
