Until a few days ago IT hit.
And I was ready to finally read Blake & Mercerβs story.
An emotional, hilarious, kinda darkish, uber-sexy, fast-paced little romance that deserved all the praise!
Mercer is the brattiest brat ever. And Blake loves every single thing about him.
Blake is drawn to the broken boy from the moment he lays eyes on his black lingerie and he NEVER gives Mercer any butsβ¦

When Mercer has his emotional revelation after their βfirstβ time, my heart ached for that bratty boy.
And Blake knew how to work both him and his little demon.
The SEXIEST.
But also, the FUNNIEST. π€£
I loved every second of this one. Itβs got some Necessary Evil vibes but itβs NOT the same.
Just the same dark-humor, incredibly sexy love stories with bratty bottoms.
And I LOVE that.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved the dynamic between Mercer and Blake. Mercer was the biggest brat with all his snark and sassy attitude, and Blake was the most patient man who embraced Mercer and his attention seeking behavior. Poor Mercer endured so much trauma and suffered panic attacks, but I loved watching Blake help him through it. Blake knew exactly what Mercer needed and how to help him find himself, and it was so amazing to see Mercer's growth. I just loved the chemistry between these two. All of their sexy games and kinks were just so hot. I couldn't get enough of their possessiveness of each other. Mercer and Blake were truly perfect for each other. Not only did I enjoy the romance, but the action and suspense was entertaining as well. I highly recommend this book and hope you love it as much as I do!

This story was absolutely amazing and I loved Blake and Mercer so much. The growth that Mercer went through in this book was phenomenal. Watching him grow into himself and heal was beautiful and this is definitely a new favorite book!

This was the first book I've ever read with the brat trope and absolutely loved it. Mercer was such a handful but somehow, Blake knew exactly how to handle his personality.
I really enjoyed the development of their relationship. Blake was so patient and understanding. At the end of the day all Mercer really wanted was to be loved. My heart hurt for him so bad.
I don't want to give too much away, but not only is the relationship between the two MCs addictive, the plot line is too. I loved all the unexpected twists. The side characters were also just *chefs kiss*
Nordika really knows how to create worlds that completely capture your heart and leave you wanting more.

I'm not really in favor of femme blouses, but Mercer did it in a good way.
Blake is just perfection... The way he can read Mercer and tap into his needs and emotions.
The spice and attraction between them is also so hot.
