WOW WOW WOW!
Words cannot describe how good this book is and how much I enjoyed it !

Mercer is such a brat and he gets his way every time (when it comes to Blake) and I LOVE it. Mercer is definitely a partner that Blake needed.
Blake understands Mercer in a way that no one else does and loves him in a way that no one else could. He’s also the most caring and attentive murderer I know. He’s so attuned to Mercer, always knows what he needs, always knows how to ask, always addresses the issues at hand. He never discouraged Mercer and always reassured him when Mercer opened up about his abandonment issues.
This book couple has quickly become one of my favorites and I wasn’t even half way through their story. I don’t know what kind of crack was put into this, but it was honestly SUCH a good story.
The main characters were well rounded. I truly felt the connection between Mercer and Blake. Like I FELT just how much they loved eat other (and how possessive they were of each other).
Like I said, words cannot describe how much I enjoyed this. They just make sense.

Little Demon in the Details

Mercer and Blake

I absolutely loved these two. The storyline was great. The bratty-ness was off the charts. So much spiciness. I truly adored Mercer and his needy ways. Blake was great, and I loved how he understood Mercer's needs. How helpful he was to the trauma Mercer experienced. I loved the Carter boys, their father, Aaron, Keira, and Dee. I would love an extended epilogue, pretty please

Apparently I have a soft spot for brats because some of my absolute favorites have them. And Mercer is the brattiest of brats that ever bratted and I ADORE him. I just want to wrap him up in his hoodlum sweats and cuddle the heck outta him. He was cunning and manipulative and so very hurt that he deserved ALL the attention and lovin’. Now Blake?! Oh my. This quiet observer is the tall, dark and murdery man of my dreams. He was exactly the commanding safe space that Mercer needed. Don’t even get me started on his dirty mouth.
