Listening to Jennette read her audiobook made the book more raw and heartbreaking. A life story that definitely needed to be told and it goes to show you never know what’s happening behind closed doors.

I don't want to rate Jennette’s life in that sense, but the book itself was very well written. It gave me a big insight into harrowing child acting and codependent relationships can be.

A wonderful look into the difficult life of Jennette McCurdy as a child actor struggling with an abusive mother. This book dives into McCurdy’s struggles with eating disorders, alcohol, abuse, grief, and finding herself.
