Wow this was hard to read. It was well-written and compelling but this poor girl had such a hard life. It felt like The Glass Castle meets the Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. Her mom was absolutely terrible and set her up with so many problems and most of the people around her continually let her down or downright abused her. If you have triggering subjects, please read the content warnings because there is a lot of triggering content.

I’m Glad My Mom Died by @jennettemccurdy isn’t going to get my normal Pros and Cons breakdown. It was good. So good. I don’t feel like digging too deep into the why. 

This book was dark and hard to read. It was a 5 star read for a fiction girly that only recently started exploring other fiction genres. I am not a biography girl. Life is rough and reading about other people’s lives has never been enjoyable for me. 

There are a lot of triggers here. It isn’t a lighthearted story about a privileged celebrity with a cushy life. 

5 out of 5 ⭐️’s
