I will start by saying I am a staunch republican. But, there is something about the royal family that I find so fascinating.
This in depth analysis of the Windsors begins with Diana and goes all the way through to the famous Oprah interview with Meghan and Harry.
A whopping 18 hour long audiobook, I’m surprised how engaged I was for most of it. There was some lengthy discussion on Diana, Charles and Camilla and not as much on Meghan and Harry as I expected.
This book was full of juicy gossip wrapped up in concise and engaging writing. I was most fascinated by Kate Middleton’s story of how she moved her whole life around to make herself available for William until he eventually proposed.
I wasn’t into the detail of the Prince Andrew / Epstein scandal so I skipped through that because it’s pretty horrendous.
A great in depth recent history of the royals.
