i enjoyed some of these stories more than others - ultimately i think that im just not the biggest short story fan so that makes this a little bit difficult. my favorites were all my best friends are dead by liselle sambury, mother, daughter, and the devil by donyae coles, and papa pearlie by ryan douglass!

My favs were: all my best friends are dead(liselle sambury), the teeth come out at night (Sami Ellis), and no harm done (Circe moskowitz). The rest of them were pretty enjoyable but not as much as I wanted them to be. Loves the hidden messages in them, whether it be about class disparities, race, control, or generational trauma, but sometimes the execution didn’t do it for me. But I think there’s something for everyone in this anthology.

This was a wild ride, to say the least. I adored at least half of these stories, and still enjoyed the ones I didn't like as much. My favorite was, hands down, the final story: "No Harm Done" by Circe Moskowitz. That story especially held my attention the entire time and brought me to tears. I highly recommend this collection to anyone who enjoys the horror genre.

Excellent set of horror based short stories.  More than 1/2 are very good.  The rest are still decent short stories but maybe just not a great.  Overall recommend if you like horror and short story format.
