Yeah, I don't think horror is for me cause some of these stories ending my nights with falling asleep watching cartoons to get it our my head lol.
But some was a bit strange to me and others, particularly the last one, had me wishing it was a stand alone novel.
Overall, it was a fun, spooky read for my October readings.

I really wish I loved this more than I did. While all of the stories held nuggets that I liked, there were only a few that really stuck with me
- Be not afraid by ashia monet (love some good religious horror)
- All my best friends are dead by liselle sambury (
doppelgangers as a concept can be so interesting and jarring at the same time ) - The teeth come out at night by Sami Ellis (by far my favorite)
- I love your eyes by joel rochester
Some came very close to being on this list but just missed the marks or were soured to me by their twists.
