This is not a book about the inevitability of death and how life sucks. This is about appreciating your life. Realising that living in your regrets is no way to live.
If you're expecting to cry while reading this book, then you would be correct, but don't expect some depressing shit.

So admittedly I would probably give this book one or two stars most of the time. It felt preachy to me at times and very cheesy. But the timing of when I read this played a large factor. Maybe someday I'll re-read this and decide to change my rating, or maybe I won't. As it is, it helped me remember what I've been having trouble remembering lately, and that's worthy of at least one more star.

Not spoiling too much because I really want other folks to read this one. It's a really fun take on the "life is what you make of it" trope. It reads like vignettes and has a very "feel good" vibe overall. It did, however, hit incredibly close to home with the themes (suicide, death of a parent, grief/loss, and depression/anxiety), so be warned.

Incredibly mid tier and offers a bland take on mental health issues (that it insists is revolutionary).

Interesting concept but the execution could have been better.

The last half of the book feels rushed and predictable. The characters were well written and it's still a decent read.

I feel that this is a self-help book disguised as a work of fiction, the last two chapters were pretty blatant about it.
