I loved the first 20% of this book and I had such high hopes for it!

The world building and characterisation gripped me from the start but I felt like there were a few unecessary lives this book could have been shorter and had a bigger impact.
I liked the themes and found myself quite at home in Nora but I just left this one a bit disappointed as it could have been so much more!

این هم از آخرین کتاب سال ۲۰۲۱.

کتابخانه‌ی نیمه شب ایده‌ی جذابی داره اما به خوبی پرداخت نشده و تعداد صفحاتش برای این موضوع زیاده‌ به همین دلیل، داستان تا اواسط کتاب خیلی خوب پیش میره اما بعدش خسته کننده و تکراری میشه. بگذریم از این که از همون صفحات اول میشه نتیجه‌ای که نویسنده میخواد بگیره رو حدس زد.
گذشته از همه‌ی این‌ها به نظرم داستان یک ایراد بزرگ داشت. من تا آخر کتاب رفتم و نفهمیدم چطور ممکنه کسی رو فقط چند ساعت یا چند روز وسط یک زندگی گذاشت و نتیجه گرفت که این زندگی دلخواهش هست یا نه؟ برای گرفتن این نتیجه باید تمام عمر در یک زندگی بود و همه‌ی فراز و فرودهاش رو با تمام وجود حس کرد.
