So sweet and charming all while being set in the PNW. I really loved the plus size representation in this book. It was the first time I really connected with the fat character. And it was a man. Also good mental health rep that I think can apply to so many people. Even people without depression

I feel like maybe I just haven't developed my critical reading lenses when it comes to romance yet. This was cute, and I liked it!! A fat male lead, a depressed female lead, it worked for me. Just what I needed, when I needed it.

This book was so heartfelt and cute. I appreciate the way mental health, therapy, family trauma, and being plus size was worked through to be just part what makes someone who they are, not a fault. So much growth in the characters by the end of the story. Could see this making the cutest movie.
