The third book in The Beautiful series did not disappoint.
As with the first two books, the storytelling and world building is fantastically detailed and immersive, and like book two it felt darker and more dangerous.
The Righteous naturally explores questions of power. Whether power can ever be good, especially if it’s combined with ambition. It wonders how happy we all are where we are. And what we will do to chase happiness. I cannot wait for the final book.

Pippa and Arjun's story is a wonderful addition to the Beautiful quartet, advancing the overarching plot in unexpected ways while also showing the beauty of finding your home in someone else. Excellent work from Ahdieh as always.
The Haroun cliffhanger with the Shazi and Khalid mention at the end???? God tier.

I enjoyed this book the most of the series so far. I really like the characters Arjun and Pippa and since this books is mostly based in them it made me like this story a lot more. The few chapter with Celine annoyed me quite a bit. She is not a character that I like. She might be described as a brave and strong character but so dar I just find her selfish and selectively kind.
Story wise it was good. I think a lot is not what it seems and I'm curious how the story concludes. Just have to wait for 2023! Oh and the info in the end was some food for thought!

The third book in The Beautiful Quartet is filled with love, mystery, and action. Starting off with the action and tragedy from the second book, The Damned, we begin with Arjun needing to go back to the Sylvan Vale to find a healer. While Pippa also is on the hunt for her friend and to insure she is safe. This book added in a bit of my favorite trope with a marriage of convenience, which helped these characters succeed in their tasks that needed to be completed.
However, as we begin to learn more about the Vale and those who rule it, it becomes obvious that the danger is right under our main characters noses. I greatly enjoyed this read and cannot wait to see the conclusion in the last of the series, The Ruined. I will say my only gripe with the characters is their tendency to blame others or each others for things that are their fault. It makes sense why and makes them feel more humanized however it does seem as if a few characters regressed a bit while others developed amazingly.

if this book was only about Arjun&Pippa without the noise from the rest of the series it would a 5/5 romance novel. as it stands, I counted 6 POVs and each time it is jarring. all the main plot doesn't happen until 50 pages to the end.
