Oh. My. God. WHERE IS BOOK FOUR??????

This return to my favorite band of New Orleans misfits was nothing short of incredible. From the opening of the world as we ventured into the Otherworld, to the new romance that is one to rival Celine and Bastien, I am absolutely obsessed and literally had to put it down when I read that last line and stare into space for like five minutes to process.

Arjun and Pippa’s chemistry was so fun to watch unfold as a marriage of inconvenience became one of love and respect. Seeing a new side of Bastien and Celine was both amazing and infuriating and I am so curious to see where their storyline goes next.

also. THAT CLIFFHANGER??????? Renée explain yourself please.

I didn’t think I’d end up liking Pippa and Arjun this much, but I think I enjoyed their relationship even more than Celien and Bastiens.
I am very confused by the plot and especially the ending though and don’t quite know yet what to make of the cameo from a TWatD character.
I’ll have to see how the final installment goes to have a more distinctive opinion on this book, but I definitely did enjoy reading it.

I wasn't a fan of the idea of dropping Bastien /Celine for Arjun and Pippa but in the end I really enjoyed their adventures! I wish the romance was a little bit more slower.
About the others, well I'm definitely not a fan of Michael. And Bastien was boring tbh, talk to Celine do something! And Celine.... Where is the brave, stubborn and intelligent woman from the previous volumes??
I'm quite sad the only "action" scenes are really quick, especially the last one I was expecting something bigger and more developed.

Again I will read the next and final book, I need to know the end (I'm intrigued by the epilogue what was the plan?)
I'm asking myself maybe these kind of YA fantasy are not for me anymore, even though I enjoyed reading it and I was happy to pick it up.
