I don’t know what I expected from this? I guess I just wanted to see what the hype was. and yeah, it has a poorly written, immature, repetitive, cornball essence that mimics fanfiction. I did appreciate the fast pace, and the character Atlas. but that’s it. don’t even get me started on the
pregnancy trope
jesus. let’s make a bad situation worse shall we?

It's a very good book that reads like a YA while dealing with quite some heavy stuff.
I went into it knowing nothing and kind of predicted quite a bit of the storyline, but liked the tenaciousness of the main character.
It is simply written, has some good and witty dialogue but gut punches you a few times.
 Check the trigger warnings!!

Very honest and relatable tale of a sensitive subject. Definitely made me cry a couple times!

Reading a romance really hasn't been my thing for a while but this isn't your typical romance. The book was written well but I don't think I actually liked it. Parts were very detailed when describing the sex. I think the main "plot" of this book was the relationship, where usually in romances it is a sub plot. The ending was very well done, albeit a bit abrupt. I really hated the diary entries.

This book is a very realistic portrayal of domestic violence and the reasons so many people stay with their abuser.
