I checked out this book on a whim, and I am so glad that I did, even if it wasn't what I expected. It you are going into this book expecting a typical romance, then you are likely to be disappointed. This book is a love story, but it is more about familial love. There is a romantic love story as well, but it is more of a background dressing for the story of these two children entering into their lives. I found the narration excellent and immediately fell in love with the children, little Rose especially. I'm happy that I took a chance on this book and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a feel-good read.
