Aurelius and Harlow… they love each other and they are both set on not changing their minds on whether they will change or not… I went into this wondering HOW Penelope Barsetti will solve this! Also.. how will she solve the demons that won’t die problem!? The thing is.. she never disappoints.

I’m a big fan of Aurelius and Harlow, and I love how they love one another. I love how the brothers have come together to help each other in each book. I also love the creativity of Penelope Barsetti in this series. The different foes they face in each book.. they keep getting more difficult.

Everyone needs to read these books, because they are well written and she is so very creative with the characters and places she has created. Her descriptions of the places, you can see them because they are so well described.. it’s easy to picture them in your mind and put yourself there during all the happenings. I won’t spoil anything.. cause I am so not telling what happens in the book. But I will tell you that.. you need this series. You need to continue the story of these two wonderful characters to find out what happens. There will be enough regreets!! It’s THAT good.

Every time I read a book from Penelope I think that it can’t possibly get better but every new book I read blows my mind. Her characters feel so real and you can get so lost in the world she has created. I love Aurelias and Harlow, I’m sad this was the end, I’ve felt like I was right there with them through this series. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone!

I really enjoyed this series. From the character growth to the impossible enemies the story held my attention. The only complaint I have is with the disappearance of Ryker and Effie. Like wouldn't they be worried for the other half of the family even if they're no longer Royal. Just seeks like a strange plot hole if you read the original trilogy especially because the were originally going to keep the capital in the north.

Wow - okay just wow. The only thing that comes to mind while writing this review is EPIC. Penelope Barsetti takes her readers on a wild ride with love, hope, integrity and an ending you will never see coming. Yes there are battles, yes there is family drama and dysfunction but in the end this was the perfect ending to a saga that has felt like a chess match that I thought the good guys were destined to lose. This will be one of those series the readers will read and re-read again and again.

What a conclusion to Aurelias and Harlow's love story!  I loved this series and am so sorry that it has to end.  Maybe we can get a novella with Viper's love story to return to this world.

Aurelias has kept his word and has stayed in HeartHolme to help fight this new enemy - The Demons. He has gone above and beyond, even getting his father and some of the vampire army to come to their aid.

The love between Harlow and Aurelias grows even more. Yet, he still has some of his past behind a tall wall.  As much as Harlow tries, Aurelias seems stuck in keeping essential bits of his past hidden.  But will he eventually break down that wall and talk to her?

Huntley was my favourite male character in the Forsaken series.  As he was back then, he is now a true leader to his people.  It was amazing to see the maturity he displayed when dealing with Aurelias throughout this series, but it was incredibly encouraging in this conclusion.  Huntley has grown to love Aurelias as though he is a son.

This series was an outstanding read!  I will genuinely miss Fang!

Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Entertaining, Romantic, Action-packed, Wonderful characters
