What a twist!

I struggled to get into the first probably half of this book but then around just over halfway through it picked up and really stayed fast paced and interesting with new twists at every turn. I would think I had it figured out bad then more clues and random trails came along and it kept me guessing the whole time. The ending left it seemingly open for a second book and a good start to a series that I would definitely read. Overall, for a first read from this author, I would definitely read more of her work!

This book was scattered and messy. Lots of lies, lots of characters and lots to keep track of. Overall it was alright. Nothing I would recommend but I didn’t hate it completely.

A good first book to this series. Main character is Finley, a lawyer turned investigator. She is a bit unstable. Supposedly great at knowing when someone is lying, but yet didn't see it in her own marriage? Many difficult relationships. Underlying mystery that does not get solved by the end. Will read more :)
