I love when the main character or characters are actual fighters, love reading them scrapping in the rings. This was such a good read with all the feels and the scents and how Lana woven them in the stories just hit the spot.
I enjoyed reading this Omegaverse!

The two omegas in one pack thing had so much potential tho
Sooo I didn't hate it. I liked the idea of two omegas being in the same pack, it was kinda hot, but the relationships weren't developed enough in my opinion. I wasn't a huge fan of the relationship between Greyson and Stellan, I wanted them to become more than just pack members. It felt a little odd to me that Greyson was the only one who didn't want to bond two omegas while everyone else was fine with it. And the relationship between Stellan and Jackson could have been developed more as well. The dinner scene with Elise, Jackson & Stellan was great but then that was basically it, so I was a little disappointed.
I also felt like the conflict that happened wasn't really that exciting. Like, it happened and was resolved pretty fast. Now, I love that the pack was able to communicate enough to solve it (one of my biggest pet peeves is miscommunication) but I need more angst.

Summary: Isolated after his friend, lover (?) and fellow omega leaves him for pack life, the MMC takes refuge in boxing, before finding himself strangely connected to an alpha sports promoter with surprising connections
Stats: Omegaverse (alternate CR), poly/omegaverse - unclear, presumably open door, part of a series but can stand alone
Reading Notes: DNF'ed at 6% - I'm not much for second chance, and I'm not much for childhood friends to lovers, and I'm not much for omegaverse TBH.

Not what I imagined
So fighting instincts was an exactly what I thought it should have been I guess. Like I didn't love it I didn't like it but I didn't not like it I just felt Meh about it. Like I felt like the characters weren't really explored enough and we were just kind of given like a specific detail that made them the person they were like Nile's was a entertainment agent, Art was an artist Jackson was a doctor Greyson was a like P.I. I feel like we got a bunch of stuff but like also nothing at all. And then like the story was confusing of whose story was it was, is it Stellan story or elise's story like it was just really confusing cuz I felt like yeah it's more of a joint story than specifically about Stellan. Like they didn't want him to feel like an addition to the pack but that's literally what he was im pretty sure, well that's how he came across at least to me. I wanted to like Elise's character but like I just didn't I liked Niles a little bit Arturo seemed to be fun Jackson was adorable I don't know something about Grayson just didn't sit with me. Like I get it two omegas and four Alphas but one of the alphas is only a bonded alpha 2 one of the omegas so it's like a solo couple inside of a pack I don't know I just I don't know how I felt about it whatever. I just feel like this story definitely still kind of put Stellan on the back burner. So yeah not my favorite book definitely my least favorite in the Omega very sweet verse series two out of five stars
