A bombshell brunette walks into a bar…
Who wouldn’t want a five night stand with a dirty mouth cowboy, who wants to rail you on every surface of the bar? Yes, please!
This book starts so hot and heavy with her, leaving for a cabin vacation to escape her cheating ex-boyfriend and finding an unexplainable connection with a backwards cap wearing bartender.

This book was so fun and so cute in all of the right ways. The only thing that I think that it lacked was just that I think it could’ve been longer to introduce a little bit more spice between the characters because when the spice was there, it was definitely explosive.

Can’t wait to continue this series!

DID NOT FINISH

Unbelievably cringe, I don’t think I actually got very far in this book and I can’t tell because it’s so fast paced I could be 4 pages and in the main character has decided to leave. Plus I already deleted the epub.

Perfectly charming BRAD. Liked both Lincoln (the platonic ideal of a sexy cowboy written by a woman… protective manly man and taking her last name? Too much) and Josie. Her neurosis was a little annoying, but fair. I have a soft spot for books where a big warm family adopts the other partner and this was a good family. I liked that the structure was different from most romances - hook up, long time apart, hook up.  And so there was not third act break up. Hot scenes were sufficiently hot. Just a solid spicy romance.  Will read the next in the series!

It was almost really good. Enjoyable though and will probably read the 2nd book in the series.

Between the Pines completely caught me off guard—in the best way. This book was fast-paced, spicy as hell, and had that swoony cowboy energy I can never get enough of. Josie and Lincoln’s chemistry was off-the-charts from the second they met (yes, pool table scene, I’m looking at you 👀), but what really got me was how emotionally grounded their story became. Josie’s self-doubt felt so real, and watching Lincoln not only love her but help her see herself was just chef’s kiss. He’s the perfect mix of southern gentleman and dirty talker, and their second-chance romance had me grinning, blushing, and maybe even tearing up a little. Loved every second!

this was obviously written to just feed the tiktok masses. it was chopping and just the same romance tropes watered down and written poorly.
