I don’t know if it’s just me, but I’ve always found it hard to mesh well with thrillers—this one was alright, I enjoyed the characters and the various timelines. It was well paced and interesting, but for some reason I felt like I was missing something. The ending also felt a bit lacklustre, even though there were hints in the main story.
Would probably pick up another by this author, but doubt I’ll read this one again.

Wow this was a page turner and one I couldn’t put down! It was a little hard to follow with 3 storylines told across 2 time periods. And one FMC was named Lucy and the other was Libby and for some reason those names were so hard to keep straight in my brain. Despite my confusion and the seemingly endless red herrings, I read on and I’m so glad I did. This was a creepy, disturbing, and wild ride. Taking away a star because the ending was a little too hunky dory for me given everything that had happened up until that point. Lisa Jewell is the queen of thrillers and I’ll be reading the sequel for sure!
Super fast paced and fun to read. I loved the alternating pov and trying to figure things out. I couldn't put this one down and I enjoyed it more than other books from this author. I'm sad it's over.
