Revenant is a shadow angel, the most powerful being apart from the Satan himself in Sheoul (hell). He also happens to be one of the most cocky, arrogant hero I’ve read but I couldn’t help but love him. His dialogues made me laugh. He is also very vulnerable and hurt about; how he not only has a twin brother but he had thousands of memories wept because of the said brother. He covers up these with his I-don’t-give-a-fuck attitude and other times rage. In the last book he gets his memories back which leads him to feeling betrayed, in a sense very lost of who he is now that he knows that he wasn’t evil as he though he was. But he is still very much a badass.
She said “how did you do that?”
He shrugged “I’m powerful as shit”
Blaspheme is a false angel or so she pretends to be. She’s the forbidden offspring of a angel and fallen angel, a vyrm. Her kind is hunted and now they are coming after her since her disguise is failing. She doesn’t need a complication in form of a six foot fallen angel who just doesn’t take the hint to leave her alone. She’s a doctor at Underground General Hospital. Blas is very sassy but at the same time she’s also caring, compassionate and doesn’t want people to get hurt because of her.
“Gethel, your diet sucks. Stop eating infants and eat more leafy greens”
I really enjoyed Rev and Blaspheme’s banter, some of them had me laughing out loud. Revenant from the moment he saw Blas wanted her (they met the first time in Reaver), while she was trying really hard to get noticed especially not a fallen angel who could kill her if he found out her secrets. Rev was honsetly baffled why Blas didn’t want him, he’s really that arrogant. Blas made Revenant feel loved which he really needed after the mockery his childhood was, living in sheoul. They were both tough and determined characters with very strong personalities and I think they made a great couple.
“You’re good” she whispered against his mouth.
“I know” he whispered back.
Suddenly, pain tore into his arms as her nails scored his skin. “But you’re not that good”.
Everyone in the book has their own agenda, the world is filled with politics and have truths. The book had alot of action and fights. It had some suspense and excitement especially near the end where I was like:

But that just made everything more interesting. The lines of what’s right and wrong were kind of blurred too in the book. But there were also a few scenes that were very touching and emotional such as Rev’s childhood and Rev and Blas scenes near the end. That epilogue was quite lovely as well.
Quibbles: I needed it to be a just a bit longer especially since near the end so much of the action took away the focus from the couple. Also Reaver, I wanted to smack as one point because he couldn’t see how hurt Rev was. I love Reaver really I do but dude open your eyes and look already!
Overall, I loved it. This was another great installment to the series, a joy to read I think was grinning almost the entire time I read this like a loon and I can’t wait for Hades’s book which comes out in May 2015. Happy Reading!

When I first started reading the Demonica books they were a guilty, smutty pleasure. Now the character writing and the plot are top notch and these are some of my favorite supernatural romance books. I think this book is perhaps the best in the series thus far, I almost cried at one point!
Keep writing and I will keep reading.

What a a great final book for this series! It was fun to see both UG and the Lords of Deliverance intersect so greatly.
I really liked Blaspheme! She is a doctor at UG and not a false angel, but a Verm, a half fallen half angel, apparently something both groups execute on sight. In order to survive she has to hide her true nature under a spell. She was smart, principled and acted like any sane person. She made mistakes but I felt like none were stupid and she owned up to them. She was able to connect with Revenant as they both were conflicted between their dark and light sides.
Revenant was a bit whiney at first but luckily that improved relatively quickly. As Eidolon said Wraith took decades to get past his difficult stage so Revenant hardly took any time. He really is quite remarkable and by the end I was fully a fan.
Phew and the ending - I was not expecting what happened! I can't wait to read the Demonica Underworld series.

Another great book in the Demonica Series!! These books just keep getting better and better!
love this series! this book was particularly good as both the demonica and horseman series inergrated so well in this book. i love angels and demons but sometimes it gets all holy and mightly but the lore through out this book was so good! i love where this series is going and i cant wait for more....there will be more???
Loved this one!!! Kept me turning the pages. Didn't give 5 stars mostly because the guy on the cover looks like he has a mullet, so I kept picturing him while reading.
I was so sad when I finished this book…not because it wasn’t good (it was awesome)…but because this has been one of my favorite series for so long and I hate to say goodbye. Whether this is truly the end is yet to be seen but as it stands now, Revenant is the ending book to both the Demonica and the Lords of Deliverance series.
Having a twin brother who is an angel was a shock to Revenant, but finding out he was one too was even more surprising. Raised in hell, tortured at every opportunity and now serving as Satan’s right hand man has never been easy, but it’s his life. It’s all he knows. Until his missing memories are restored and he’s reunited with his righteous brother Reaver. The anger he feels at Reaver’s heavenly upbringing clouds every interaction the two manage to have.
When Satan demands Revenant find someone in the medical field to help the being carrying Lucifer within her womb to be reborn, Revenant goes straight to the sassy Blaspheme. A woman who has been on his radar for quite some time. She reluctantly agrees to help him, if only to find out more about the situation to take back to her boss at Underworld General.
Blaspheme has been hiding what she is for her entire life. As a half breed she’d be hunted down and killed without a thought. Having a fallen angel around will not help her keep her origins under wraps. Her masking spell is quickly wearing off and when it finally dwindles Revenant will surely now what she is. Yet when he asks for her help (or rather demands it) she finds herself agreeing against her better judgement. With every look, every touch, Revenant finds himself conflicted with his growing emotions where Blaspheme is concerned. His deep seeded gray area morals tend to try to be better for her.
These books need to be read in order. I know that’s a tall request seeing as how there are 11 books across both series, but trust me you need the back story. There are a ton of cross characters and I fear a reader not familiar with the extensive world would be lost very quickly. Revenant has some amazing growth throughout the book as he works through his jealousy and guilt. I enjoyed the budding relationship not only with Blaspheme but with his brother as well. At times I actually liked the brothers relationship more than the love aspect but I think that was only because it had been longer in the making. Paranormal romance fans are sure to agree with me on this one…Revenant is wonderfully done, sexy and an excellent ending to a well-loved series!
I give Revenant by Larissa Ione 4.25 stars!

What a great end for a series. Rev is nothing and everything we thought and more. I loved that we finally learned Rev's full back story and that he got a happy but evil ending. I'm sad to see this series end but I enjoyed the ride the entire way!
OMG! Just OH. MY. GAWD.....
Revenant... Revenant.... REVENANT! Okay, I will admit to squeeling like a teenage girl at a boy band concert when I saw this pop up for request on Netgalley. I love and I mean LOVE Larissa Ione's Demonica series and I love, love, LOVE bad boys. Revenant is the absolute alpha of all bad boys, he is arrogant, emotionally tortured, and panty meltingly schmexy with a capital S, you know, basically the perfect trifecta of bad boyness. *fist pump* Yess.....
*I encourage you to make sure that you read Reaver prior to diving into this book, there are several things in it that tie in and lead into Revenant's story.
Revenant is a 5000 year old fallen angel (or so he thought). He has worked his way up the ranks in Hell to be Satan's right hand man and new evil watcher for the Horseman. He hates working for Satan but has no way of escaping his fate, or so he thinks... Several things have happened lately, he found out that he has a twin brother, he's not a fallen angel and he's been upgraded in strength and power to that of a Shadow Angel. There is no one more powerful than him in Hell besides Satan or Lucifer, In Heaven his angelic (Radiant) counterpart happens to be his brother who is ordered to keep him in check. Revenant is understandably bitter, he doesn't understand why his brother was sent to heaven by their mother as a baby while he was forced to remain in Hell with her enduring thousands of years of torture.
Blaspheme has been masquerading as a False Angel for her own safety. She is the daughter of an Angel and Fallen Angel and the children of this type of union are considered abominations and hunted down and killed. The spell hiding her true identity is failing and she is on a deadline to find another way to conceal herself from the hunters after her and her mother. I love Blaspheme! She is sassy and absolutely holds her own with Revenant. I loved seeing their relationship blossom, both pulled together by an intense attraction and both fighting to understand their feelings for each other. The chemistry and love scenes between Revenant and Blaspheme made for some major face fanning.
This book was a wild ride of emotions from start to finish, I was laughing one minute and then crying the next, irritated and then charmed. Fantastic wrap up to an electrifying series!
*I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review

I’m the former book I was surprised that revenant was reaver’s brother.
I began to wonder why he fell, just to find out he didn’t??
My poor baby
My review in this series may be all over the place but I only just found out how to properly use the app
