For the people that read ACOTAR and thought “I wish Feyre had fucked all three of the bat boys. And also that it was a hockey romance.”

I’m not happy about it but I fear parts of it were… okay?

The real “why choose” question is why did any of these men choose Rachel… y’all can do better. The only reason I finished was because the spice was spicing. The plot however, was not plotting.

As shows from my pace of reading this, I couldn’t get myself past 29% once I found out this was a “why choose” romance, aka three men one women. Which I understand is written at the start of the book but I did not understand the meaning of considering I was coming straight from the prequel. Bummed because I loved Jake as a character and wanted to stick around for him but I couldn’t. DNF at 29%.

Finished but the plot really fell off about 75% in. Turned into monologue after monologue about feelings which is common in RH. The hockey bits were good though!

This book is a maybe. If you feel like reading 750 pages of spicy scenes with fun characters and minimal plot, pick it up.

Spoilers for sure
