The story was great. But it took a minute to get into. Great slow burn romance mixed into the plot but the ending, while sweet, was a little disappointing (although maybe a bit more realistic 🤷🏻‍♀️)

This book was a slow burn for me. I had a hard time getting into it but somewhere along half way it became a book that I was thinking about and eager to get back to when I was off doing other things.

Books like this have me turning to Historical Fiction more and more. They are quickly becoming my favorite reads. They are much easier to read than textbooks and a lot more enjoyable.

The best way to learn about what happened in WW2 is to read about it and research what you read. When it is an informative and enjoyable read like The Postmistress for Paris, it is so easy to learn more. And with little bit of romance I am a very happy reader.
