Interesting book. The journalist author investigated Jesus - the Man and the Divine - using various sources outside of the Bible. I was turned on to this by my church pastor who claimed it was a solidifying source during his spiritual journey.

This book is a good summary of many apologetic and historical supports for the New Testament and Jesus, but I would probably use this book more as a reference to find the other books Strobel used in his research. At the end of each chapter, Strobel includes resources for further reading which is helpful. I appreciated that he included at the end, "On the other hand, maybe questions still linger for you. Perhaps I didn't address the objection that's uppermost in your mind. Fair enough. No single book can deal with every nuance. However, I trust that the amount of information reported in these pages will at least have convinced you that it's reasonable--in fact, imperative--to continue your investigation" (pp. 291).

Incredibly influential for those seeking help with apologetics. I'm sure this book could and/or has brought many people to Jesus. The verdict is clear.
