second chance romance??? friends to lovers to enemies to lovers?????? SIGN ME UP!!! also leo hernandez is officially a part of my book husband list fr
I completely wrapped myself up in this book and loved every second. Leo and Mary's story is probably one of my favorites in this series.
Leo is so much more than the persona he puts out into the football world. Mary is much more than the tattooed shell she puts out into the world. Together these two created quite a story.
"If fate is what brought you to me, I'm not only a believer -- I'm a worshipper."
"Mi amor, mi cariño, mi cielo."
"I had everything I'd ever wanted. All because I begged my parents to buy me Halo."
I'm sad to see this series end because I absolutely loved these couples. ❤️

As much as I enjoyed this RomCom, it really seemed like the author watched a lot of Corn and wrote it out. Those scenes felt very awkward and had a different vibe than the rest of the book.
sad that this series is over! What a fantastic sports romance series. They're all steamy, realistic, and emotional, and this book is no exception.
The only thing keeping this from being a 5-star was that I wanted a few more 1:1 moments between hero and heroine. They were roommates, and there could have been some great roomie moments beyond the couple we saw. But I still maintain that this is what you should be reading after marathoning the Off-Campus series. So so good.

I LOVED the concept of this and it was different from the others. I honestly did get a bit bored towards the end but I still enjoyed this
the way I absolutely devoured this... so many book characters are super similar to each other, but Mary had qualities that rly stood out and made it more interesting to read. and the backstory was heart wrenching in the good way

I. AM. SOBBING!
This book was amazing. From the angst, the enemies to lover, roommate trope. It had it all!
Leo is so sweet when he has his guard down with Mary and Mary’s sass but also her independence is brilliant!
It was bittersweet when I finished. I know this is the end of this series but I feel like I’ve grown with these characters, and they are my friends and I’m just so freaking happy they got their happiness ❣️
Kandi, thank you as always for the privilege to read and review your book! I can’t wait for the new series and all the spice you’ll be throwing in!
