A genuinely stunning story of womanhood, community, colonialism, and ecology.

Aycayia made my heart hurt. I just felt so much pain and love for her. I'll be honest I bought this for the cover and the name, but it really made an impression on me. I thought it was so well written and had so many dark themes making it both an interesting and surprisingly emotive read.
