”They say there’s a thin line between love and hate, what do you say we figure out what side we’re on?”

i was really excited to read rowan’s book but it didn’t do it for me and i am so sad. i can see why people love it, but there were some parts that gave me ✨the ICK✨. i won’t go into details.
”I close my eyes and relax against him. How is it that I’m so comfortable with him? I can’t help but wonder if it’s because there’s nothing here.”
let’s just say enemies to lovers in contemporary romance books aren’t usually my cup of tea, there are some i enjoyed more, some less. also, sister’s ex trope in this book did not sit right with me. i get it, her sister is the worst and liar, but i mean they slept together. so how do you move on from that..?
“Why are you really out here talking to me?” “I..fuck, I don’t know. I just wanted to see you, ask if you’re okay.”
romance was okay, nothing extraordinary. it was mostly pure sex and physical attraction with one another. you could see they’ve cared for each other in a way but it didn’t felt that romantically. it was more rushed towards the end with i love you’s.
”Listen, Officer—” “It’s Sheriff, if you don’t mind.” asherr my man, still fav definitely in this series.
I felt like it needed more development and needed more feelings and emotions, more bonding scenes without them sleep with each other. spice was good, i enjoyed reading it.
for what it is, it’s a good book. i may not be the right person for this book, so it doesn’t mean someone else won’t love it! still i enjoyed it and would recommend. waiting on the last book and to wrap up this series.

This was so much fun ! It’s fun, light, sexy with a good storyline.
Charlotte, our cowgirl rancher, is strongly independent and determined. Rowan is a protective hero, a dirty talkin' cowboy, and the most sweet uncle. I enjoyed how playful and playful he was at times. However, he worked extremely hard.
The two had obvious rivalry from the start, which explains their hilarious and fantastic bickering. Their journey toward recognizing their feelings was very believable, and the author did a great job of capturing a very realistic fight between the two as lovers.
And Rowan's relationships with his brothers were excellent. I loved those. I can't wait to read about the Whitlock sister.
Thank you Valentine PR and Corinne Michaels for providing me with this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

It could've been interesting, but instead it seemed like a story about two people who obviously click spending the entire book throwing out reasons why they shouldn't be together. There was way too much emphasis on one the physical relationship and it got pretty boring. Charlotte was annoying as hell. Hers and her sister's story was so weak. Meh.
«i will fight the world and ruin myself in the process to make sure nothing hurts you.»
this was another cozy small town romance with great banter and plenty of heat. loved it!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌶️🌶️🌶️ This was a well done enemies to lovers. It had the angsty build up without making you wait too long. The spice was spicing 🔥.
* The miscommunication troupe doesn’t bother me because most adults can’t properly communicate anyway. I don’t understand how people are so annoyed with that troupe when they can’t properly communicate with her real life significant others but some people aren’t ready for that conversation 🤷🏻♀️. Anyyywayyy 😂 all that to say this book had all the drama without the miscommunication.
* I loved how they passed the hat back &forth. I literally giggled every single time 🤭. The sneaking around also gave the story suspense.
* Overall I really enjoyed this one &definitely recommend it.

Unfortunately, this wasn't for me. It had its moments but the pacing was off. Like they hated each other and he didn't do relationships but they were in one the other second and then she needed space again so idk what was happening there. Also the whole thing with her sister was so stupid because it had no actual resolution. And the farm storyline just made me feel bad for Charlotte like girl- idk I just felt embarrassed for her whenever smth about the farm came up so yeah-
sidenote(s): Faye leaving her at the cabin didn't sit well with me. Like I get she her responsibilities but she was the one who dragged Charlotte (who was hurt)- I think she should've waited for her
And the soothing slag thing was so silly- like I saw it coming when it was first mentioned but her getting 2 million views overnight was just goofy to me
