There's something about small town but a small town and an enemies to lovers oh when I say I loved this book it goes short because there's so much to enjoy in it. I knew as soon as it was Rowan Whitlock's turn the book was going to be excellent and I was so right. Rowan never thought he could fall in love with somebody until his archnemesis came around. He thought he hated her but like they always there's a thin line between love and hate. Charlotte Sullivan was just trying to save her farm and she would do anything to do that but in the long run she was going to fall deep in love with her number one enemy.
You can feel the tension from the beginning of the book and that's when you know a book is going to be great. This book is so well written and so detailed. I wish Charlotte would've been earlier in his life it would've made the story so interesting. At the end of the day there's nothing I didn't love about this book. The cabin scene is going to live rent free in my mind forever. I cant wait to read the rest of this series.

This was so much fun ! It’s fun, light, sexy with a good storyline.
Charlotte, our cowgirl rancher, is strongly independent and determined. Rowan is a protective hero, a dirty talkin' cowboy, and the most sweet uncle. I enjoyed how playful and playful he was at times. However, he worked extremely hard.
The two had obvious rivalry from the start, which explains their hilarious and fantastic bickering. Their journey toward recognizing their feelings was very believable, and the author did a great job of capturing a very realistic fight between the two as lovers.
And Rowan's relationships with his brothers were excellent. I loved those. I can't wait to read about the Whitlock sister.

Tempting Promises, the third book in the Whitlock Family series is my new favorite of the series. Corinne Michaels gives us a sexy small town, enemies to lovers, forbidden romance that is a great blend of drama, swoons, steam and forced proximity tension. I LOVED this book!! Devoured it all in one sitting. Between the banter (my favorite part), the obvious chemistry between Rowan and Charlotte - even when they argued or as they competed for the same business contract - and the ice storm suspense, I couldn’t put this book down.
Tempting Promises is a great addition to an already fantastic series. I highly recommend!!
