What a fun book! A couple who hate each other turns to lovers, not without some squabbles and mischief. Rowan used to go out with Charlotte’s sister, but when they broke up, she turned vindictive and vilified him to everyone in town. She lied saying he cheated on her, turning Charlotte against him too.

Now Rowan and Charlotte are competing for a milk producing contract and as they have frequent contact, she can’t help realizing he’s a decent person, not capable of what her sister accused him of.

I loved the banter and the squabbles, loved the decent and kind person Rowan is. Initially, I was annoyed at Charlotte, but then she redeemed herself as she starts noting Rowan’s actions when he rescues her several times. They have such yummy sexy times! I loved the funny nonsense about the hat exchange!

This is a small town romance, which I love, where everyone is in each other’s business. The Whitlock family is tight and supportive, and I loved Rowan’s niece Olivia. She’s deaf but that doesn’t stop her from being a strong assertive young girl.

The family dynamics, the rivalry between Charlotte and Rowan, the banter and squabbles, Charlotte’s stubbornness, it all adds for a very entertaining story. I only wished that Aurora, Charlotte’s sister, got more comeuppance than she got!

Rowan and Charlotte have been my favorite story so far. They were fun, infuriating and sexy as hell!

Charlotte hates Rowan for hurting her sister years ago, and her sister is a piece of work. She lied that she and Rowan were dating and he cheated on her. That she walked in and caught him. They have neighboring dairy farms and compete for everything. But when they go on a weekend friend trip they get stranded in a hunting cabin and things heat up. Once back home they both fight their feelings and obstacles while not being able to stop seeing each other.

This story was so much fun. I really hated her sister throughout. But their forbidden romance was once you just can’t help but love and root for them. They had passion and angst. And their tender moments were so sweet. I loved when she tried to push him away, he just kept showing up for her. I’m really excited for Carson and Brinley’s story!

Charlotte & Rowan stuck in an ice storm

I think that this is my favorite Corinne Michaels book yet! The banter and tension that comes from the enemies-to-lovers dynamic is so, so good! I couldn’t put this down-I finished it in a day! I also think that this is one of the most wistful, sweet books from Corinne that I’ve read, which comes mostly from Charlotte wanting to save her family farm, and falling in love with the man who owns the neighboring farm. This series has been really great so far!

⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rowan gets 5 stars just for dealing with Aurora! What a giant B*!

Seriously though Rowan is a great guy disguised as a semi-bad guy;) You can tell a lot about a person by their actions & his spoke volumes! He loves his family, his farm and his small town with his whole heart…that he thinks can’t love

Cute

Enemies to lovers
Sisters ex
Next door neighbor
Forced proximity

Rowan is probably my favorite sibling so far. The enemies was eneming until they’re forced to share a bed and then a cabin with no electricity.
Once charlotte realizes her sister was probably lying about their relationship a few years back. She lets go and leans in to their situationship.
Rowan doesn’t believe in love and doesn’t want it but Charlotte is the woman who changes his whole life.

I did get annoyed by Charlotte’s behavior or pride. I understand she doesn’t feel like she can rely on anyone but even her best friend showed that she wasn’t going anywhere and Charlotte was too proud to ask for any help. Shouldering all this burden for a farm she didn’t even want.

Overall I enjoyed the book and can’t wait for Brynlee’s.

Enemies to lovers by Corinne? Yes please!

Charolette is one of my favorite FMC’s. She’s strong, witty, and isn’t going to take any shit from her neighbor who happens to be enemy #1. Rowan is a grump who loves to one up Charolette. But there’s a fine like between love and hate. And when these two get together? It’s explosive. The banter, and the spice were top notch as always. Really enjoying this series!

This book had me kicking my feet and giggling the whole time! I am so in love with Rowan & Charlotte. Enemies to lovers is my TOP trope so I already knew this would be a favorite! The nicknames were an absolute riot and no thirds# act breakup
