Charlotte and Rowan have hated each other for a very long time, but it is clear that there are sparkles between them that are just waiting to explode. It doesn't take much because they find themselves stuck in a cabin, with little heat, with an ankle that hurts unfortunately for Charlotte, but that's enough for them to have that sparkles explode and eventually can barely stand without touching each other.
I really liked how Corinne wrote the development of the characters and their story from enemies to lovers. Their chemistry is strong, and it was these sweet and tender moments between them (until they became a couple) that filled my heart.
Now I'm sad that I have to leave these characters, but I'm curious to see what new adventure the author is preparing us for.

idk Rowan just seemed really hot lol I love him .loved their banter & chemistry but then he took too long to realize he was capable of loving her and then when he finally tried, she was too stubborn to accept it.

Tempting Promises is the third story in the Whitlock Family Series which follows our man Rowan Whitlock & our girl Charlotte Sullivan. These two happen to be rivals in every single aspect of their lives. Their neighboring farms are both dairy, he is her sisterโs ex (who broke her heart), and theyโre going after the same contract. Snowed in with your enemyโฆ What could go wrong? The tension was through the ROOF with these two and man oh man did Corinne deliver. The scenes in the cabin were ๐๐๐. But donโt worry, they didnโt stop after that. I loved these two so much. Absolutely my favorite Whitlock couple.
I loved the banter, the angst, the tension, everything throughout this book. Charlotte was snarky and had an attitude that gave Rowan a run for his money. These two fed my soul.
I could not put this book down. Brynleeโs book is going to be incredible - Bring it on!

This series is a favorite! Corinne continues to blow me away with each book. While the first two books are my top favorites, Tempting Promises is still a wonderful and hilarious addition to the series.
Charlotte and Rowan are rival farm owners, both vying for the same contract. These two are at each other's throats constantly, and the tension is whew! I loved when they had a mini truce and decided to just give in to their desires for a few days while they were stuck together in a cabin. Give me enemies with benefits any day! The rivalry between the two mcโs is peak entertainment.
The more they spend time with each other, the more they realize that they're different from their own preconceived notions, letting them both to let their guard down.
And I just love how the Whitlock family is so present in these books, especially Olivia; sheโs the sweetest niece in the world.
