Absolutely loved. Makes you think a lot, learn a lot, think again.
I really enjoyed this book, and found it incredibly thought-provoking. Especially the chapter on desire. The final chapter on vulnerability was my favorite, and all-in-all I found this book to be incredibly valuable. This book *is* heavily written for and about the cishet woman, but Angel makes that clear throughout. So, if you’re looking for anything outside heteronormativity, you’d do well looking elsewhere.
I had just started this without much intention. Will get back at a later day once the topic is something I want to focus on again.

interesting and informative, but i felt that it was lacking in some ways? the book had a good structure and lots of examples and references but i wish there was more discussions on sex in regards to someone's race, class, and especially sexuality. men should definitely read this tho

I really enjoyed this essay, highly recommend!!
For my first read I felt like the author brought up some interesting points of view when looking at the main topics. Some of the authors points really changed my outlook on how women experience their sexuality. Allowed me to reflect on my own experiences and feel more deeply. There was many quotes that I really felt connected too. Hopefully after reading it a second I can get more out of it or notice any cracks.
