It's been difficult to articulate my ambivalence towards choice feminism w/r/t its POV on sexual liberation and placing the onus on women when it comes to navigating consent, and this book did a solid job outlining the nuances and laying bare the shortcomings. Helped contextualize past and present conversations about consent and desire while proffering new ways of thinking and behaving.

This book is all over the place and the has some poor takes mixed in with some lukewarm, common perspectives held within the world of human sexuality. The book had its moments of steering readers in the right direction, but was incredibly heteronormartive and at times had some wrong ideas about sexual assault. The view gems are not worth sifting through all the muck within this book.
