I don’t know where Elsie Silver keeps finding men who smell like pine and citronella to model these men after but I eat it up every damn time.

I put this off to read because I didn’t want Chestnut Springs to end. But Elsie made it go out with a BANG! This story was chef’s kiss. Beau the broken small town hero, fixing the girl who gets looked down at because of her family’s reputation. Just amazing.
Oh and Harvey is with his puns had me laughing like always.

Devoured this one in what basically amounts to one sitting, and enjoyed it a fair bit! While it didn’t necessarily have the same emotional gut punch other books in this series have had for me, it was pretty compelling to read about Beau and Bailey.
