Decent read.

Short fun action novel that doesn't do anything crazy but is at the consistent level of Sanderson's other novels.

Features quite a bit of Cosmere lore so I would recommend reading after Stormlight and Mistborn at the least, for spoilers.

Another enjoyable book by Sanderson. I don't know if I would call it low stakes, like Tess of the Emerald Sea, but it is definitely a somewhat cliched, story-tale kind of novel. I certainly had fun reading it, and enjoyed all the cross-references to Stormlight, but I'm not really itching to reccomend this to anyone, so I can't justify giving it higher than 3 stars.

The emotional journey for Nomad/Aux in this book was unearned. We don't know what they've been through since
W&T
so I just couldn't care that they returned to their prior path. I like how it's setting up the next stage of the Cosmere though.
