Quick Summary: First Bride to Fall was all about family ties, secret crushes, heartbreak, rainbows, reconciliation, and true love.

My Review: Ginny Baird did an outstanding job with First Bride to Fall! I was completely enamored with this beautiful romance. It was an unexpected delight. From beginning to end, I had hope, believing that N and G would get the HEA that they deserved. And they did!

My Final Say: Surely, this will be a series. I want to know about N's sisters. Will they get their HEAs? I also want to know about the mysterious A. I get the impression that he's a good guy at heart.

* This is the kind of romance novel that warms my heart and makes me want to personally thank the writer.

I absolutely loved this book. First Bride to Fall is a sweet, charming, witty read with endearing characters! Nell and Grant make a cute couple. Although as Nell learned "yoga" pants are not appropriate for hiking. Yet, I have to give props to Nell for trying. She sure earned her man.

I did not blame Grant for "playing along" with Nell when he learned the truth. Although, it sure led to some entertaining moments between these two. Plus, Grant did nothing in a mean-spirited way. If Nell did not snag up Grant, I would have done so. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

This is the first book in the Majestic Maine series, and it was a great start for the series. The series is based on the Delaney sisters and the deal they strike to save their family’s coffee shop. Their parents want one of them to enter a marriage of convenience with their previous partner’s son. Their previous partner had cheated on them several years ago and now his son wants to make amends but the only way to do it is through marriage due to his will. The sisters strike a deal that whoever hasn’t found love in thirty days will be the one to marry for convenience.
Nell will do anything to save the family’s coffee shop but marrying for convenience is pushing it a little too far. The deal gives her a great reason to step out of her comfort zone and go for the guy she has crushed on, Grant Williams. She’s not an outdoorsy kind of person but in order to get his attention, she must change that.
Adventure guide Grant Williams instantly knows Nell is not the outdoor type. But the instant chemistry between them is enough to interest him. He can see himself having a future and settling down with Nell until he hears the town gossip. Now he needs to put a halt to their relationship without ruining his reputation.
This was a fast-paced book to read and one that will keep your attention until the end. The characters were genuine, likable, and charming. I loved all of Nell’s fun antics and the book was very entertaining. It is a perfect book if you are looking for a cute romance full of fun.

The Family Coffee Shop is in financial trouble. Nell and her sisters make a pact that whoever doesn't find love and engaged in 30 days will marry the son of a man who year back, swindled their Father and can help them out of their financial difficulties. Nell has always loved Grant and decides to take matters into her own hands and heart. They end up at a Cabin after a failed hiking trip.

This book really made me think of the Bride Quartet series, although a bit similar still very unique on its own. First Bride to Fall is a really fun and quick read. We get a really good look into Grant and Nell's characters. The plot pretty much played out like it should have. The narration was good with nice voice changes. I was really hoping for a quick look into the whole Aidan situation but hopefully a series is in the making to curb our curiosity.

Thank you Netgalley and Tantor Audio for the opportunity to review this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

I’m not really sure how to feel about First Bride to Fall - I wanted to like it but it just was not my cup of tea. It read like a middle school-early high school romance but the characters were in their early thirties, the family dynamic was all over the place and the whole plot of the marriage of convenience felt very unbelievable (especially from the parents POV). It had some cute moments but overall wasn’t a hit for me.

I grabbed this one because the summary sounded interesting and I wasn't wrong. The story itself was engaging and I thought the characters were well developed. There were times where I felt the story dragged a bit and I just wanted them to get to the end. There was a lot of back and forth when Grant found out about the bet the sisters had and tried to get Nell to be the one to call it quits.

This is my first book by Ginny Baird and I do think I will pick up the other books as I want to see how the sister's stories go. If you're looking for a contemporary romance with a mix of sweet romance and funny bits, consider picking this one up.

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Narrator: The narrator chosen for this audiobook did a wonderful job. I enjoyed listening to her bring the characters and story to life.

In this story we follow Nell, one of three Delaney sisters. One of the sisters needs to marry Aiden to help save the family business. This story focuses on Nell with two more books focusing on the other sisters. I like that the author gave each sister her own book to tell their story and I am eager to get to the other two.

Story: Overall I enjoyed this story. It has its funny moments, the characters were enjoyable and the overall plot was interesting. The first half of the book had a few parts that felt unrealistic (I am being nitpicky) and I couldn't get past it, but the second half of the book is entertaining and picks up. I am glad I stuck with it.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC.
