It’s not really a book for me; the writing is really pretty and whimsical but I just find myself kinda bored and I don’t really care for any of the characters.
Maybe this will be a book I go back to in the future but right now I don’t think I’m the sort of reader that will appreciate it.

WHAT A TIME I LOVED EVERY MINUTE I SPENT READING THIS! I CANNOT WAIT TO RE-READ IT AGAIN! SUCH JOY! DENSELY PACKED WITH AMAZING CHARACTERS, GREAT PLOT, AND INTERESTING WORLD BUILDING
I wish I had had more time to read this but the professor didn't give us enough time. I couldn't really get into the story but the writing was magnificent.

This was unlike anything I have read before. Truly a wild ride. Definitely going to give this a second read in future, as to be honest, so much was lost on me during this first read. I feel like I should take some lessons on Colombian history and literature to get a full understanding.
