I’ve really enjoyed this and I’m a little giddy that there’s like 15+ more to read! The drama and suspense is great and I’m loving all the fun characters. Love!

Have watched the anime and was interested in reading the light novels.

The first one is very engaging and I had a great time reading it, the show is rather faithful to it in terms of storyline and characterisation and I adore how the novels give us more details in the characters and world. The pacing is good and kept me interested throughout, the somewhat flowery prose was quite fitting for this series.

Keen to continue with the rest of it.

i almost loved the light novel more than the manga because it can obviously be fleshed out a little bit more. while it’s the same storyline i’m reading, it felt different. maomao and jinshi <3
