Well this is def a boozey , suburban mom, scandalous yet thrilling read! Figuring out the narrator that “saw 2 people” was pretty easy but the events leading up to what that person “saw” is riveting and unpredictable at best! The things we Mama Bears would do for our kids, eh? Great quick read on this rainy day!

The storyline was a bit sluggish for a majority of that book. There were also several POVs that made it hard to know which character is which. This made it hard to connect with the characters as well.

I won’t be picking this book back up to reread.

Initially, I was going to give it 3 stars, but then the stories or secrets took off. The book club and the gossip of the neighborhood. It reminds me of the ABC show Desperate Housewives. Well written story line. Upscale neighbor hood drama. Interesting twist at the end.

A pretty good one! Another audiobook for me. All the different characters and points of view were a little confusing at first, but I was into it by the end and enjoyed most of the twists and turns. A fun listen!

I had to switch to audiobook to finish this. There was just so much going on and so many different stories and they somehow all connected but spanning over years. There was too much unnecessary plot points I felt like just to extend the story and make it more suspenseful, but that really made it more confusing and kind of like a ramble.

I really liked this read. The book club was super fun, and every time I thought I had something figured out, I was wrong. But, the first-person journal entries felt less like hinting toward something and more like throwing us off the tracks. I always felt like I was missing a detail I should’ve already known
