“Life wore grooves in people. It changed them.” 

 

The Neighbor’s Secret is quite the twisty slow burn. L. Alison Heller sets you up for a predictable mystery and then takes you through twists and turns until the last few pages. I will say that the beginning was a little too slow for my taste, but it really picked up and kept me engaged for about 75% of the book. There were moments that actually made me laugh and happy. Sometimes domestic thrillers can be predictable and dull, but The Neighbor’s Secret was delightful. 

 

The Neighbor’s Secret is perfect for anyone who is a fan of Liane Moriarty.
