Ahhh this one. I love Uncle Monty, and I teared up again when they take the Incredibly Deadly Viper away at the end. This is my fav children’s series ever because in between outrageous moments, “Lemony Snicket” sneaks in some of the most outstanding pieces of writing. He explains complex emotions like regret, depression, loss, etc. to children in ways that could not be said any better. Such as:
