One of my favorites in the series, I have a soft spot for Uncle Monty (even if he is a bit of an asshole at times) and I cannot overstate how much I love the narrator, he’s perfect for these books

Uncle Monty so far is my favorite guardian because he took into account what Violet, Klaus and Sunny needed and then he was going to take them to Peru to have the life they deserved after their parents death.

The adults in the book couldn’t be more annoying, especially Mr Poe and that’s the only reason it’s not 5 star worthy. However, the children, the setting and the plot are interesting. I love that the author has presented difficult situations in light and amusing manner.
