"The Dragon is Reborn" - this story is better with each reading, this is number five or six for me :) I love it. The question is, can i stop with this one, or is "The Great Hunt" next?!?!! :)

Rereading this book was a great idea. I enjoyed my second time through more than I did the first. I feel like I was able to love and appreciate the characters and world building more. I the world itself felt genuinely thought out and real. I enjoyed the way the cultures came into play and being able to see the shock and clashes that come with two or three different cultures engaging with one another. It was fun and intriguing and I'm genuinely excited to read the next book and see what else is in store. I do feel as if there was a bit of a weird piece in the ending that felt like it didn't quite belong, but it was still interesting.

I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed The Eye of the World. Epic Fantasies aren't usually my cup of tea. I generally don't feel like I have the attention span for larger fantasy novels. The Eye of the world reads easily for its length. A lot happens, but it's not so bogged down with details that it makes it feel like the book drags on and on. The characters were enjoyable to read and the story didn't feel predictable.

If you're like me and intimidated by the larger fantasy novels, give this a chance. It's worth it.
