This book was okay, the plot reminds me of Paper Towns but with more angst and Alaska is a reflection of Peyton from OTH. The book is well written (duh it’s John Green) and can be enjoyable but the teen angst is nearly unbearable, combined with the vulgarity of these teenagers words and actions.

Will shock you so hard you might need time to recover. Don’t get too attached.

I loved this book and the philosophical aspect that was mixed into it. There were some dark, heavy topics covered in the story, with an intense plot.

Overall a very good book!
I felt like this book captured the process of grieving very beautifully. You never really get over someone’s death, you just get used to living in a world without them in it. The prank for alaska turned her death into something cheerful, something she would have wanted. <spoiler text>
This book was heart wrenching, but still left me feeling warm by the last page. Definitely worth reading for the characters

I don't like John Green’s writing. I guess The Fault In Our Stars is the only book I have ever enjoyed by him.
