An emotional novel about friendship, growing up, death, grief, and forgiveness. One of my favorite YA books from when I was younger.

This book had a boarding school found family that I loved very much. You spend most of the time wondering what you are counting down to. Then you find out and it’s devastating. From there it’s just a lot of grief. It’s a great books, just sad.

This book was okay, the plot reminds me of Paper Towns but with more angst and Alaska is a reflection of Peyton from OTH. The book is well written (duh it’s John Green) and can be enjoyable but the teen angst is nearly unbearable, combined with the vulgarity of these teenagers words and actions.
