I was very excited at finally having a standalone BUT it feels like there is a lot of context and then the mystery is solved in 10 pages, v rushed :( and a bit out of field

This is definitely my favourite of the series. The storyline was much more interesting to me, and i liked that there were people involved with the crime for Stevie to interact with. The plot twist was also unexpected, to me at least, and made it much more enjoyable than getting half answers for so much of the first three books.
