This definitely showed the utter devastation and helplessness Gabe felt in the weeks that he had to be without Dylan. His every waking thought seemed to be dedicated to missing Dylan, and I love that.
Gabe’s behaviour in the original book pissed me off quite a lot, so getting his point of view with these short stories is long overdue. His pining and obsession would have been great to see from the beginning, but I’m glad we’re at least getting a little of it now.
