How many times do I need to write FINALLY to fulfill the Amazon word count requirement for a review? FINALLY!

After all these years Alexa finally gets her man. I love this series.

So most of the books I've read in this universe could be technically read as standalones. Some details will be missed or overlooked if you don't read the previous books, but overall, the book itself can still be enjoyed on its own. But that's not the case for this book. If you are curious about this book, I recommend reading the previous two books first. The first one, Lady and the Biker, deal with Alexa's daughter Wylla Mae and we get to see a lot of Alexa as a mother throughout all of Wylla Mae's life. They were dealt a crappy hand, and we see it all firsthand play out. Then the previous book, Tempting the Biker, is Alexa's beginning. We see her fall in love after some horrible things happen to her. We see how she got pregnant with Wylla Mae and how her life fell apart after her best friend died. I think she blames herself for that car crash and has been dealing with those emotions ever since. We also get Murder's POV and see why he does what he does because he does some seriously messed up things, but he really loves Alexa. If he could have it his way, he would've left his wife the second he found out Alexa was pregnant. But don't get me wrong, this man isn't the hero, and he does do stupid things. In this book, we are shifting to Alexa and Murder's present-day right after Lady and the Biker takes place. We see Murder trying his hardest to make up with Alexa and be there for her and show her that they can finally be together. She's like, dude it's 18 years too late. There's nothing he can do to make her forgive him. But obviously, this is a romance book, and eventually, they do make up but don't count Ruthie out. She does some crazy things in both books and in this specific book, we learn just how much she was truly part of because she does some very awful things to Alexa. Then what infuriated me about Ruthie was that she didn't even care about Murder. She didn't love or want to be with him; she wanted to keep the title and perks that came with being married to the MC president. Still, she also blamed Alexa for her daughter's death, and keeping them apart was just icing on the cake for her. It was insane.

Murder and Alexa have been on one heck of a 20-year bumpy ride, but it's all led to this...and the author could not have given us a better conclusion (well, it might be unfair to call it a conclusion, but you get what I'm saying). This installment of the RBMC Charleston chapter saga is a peek inside the wedding that we've all been waiting for. Not only do we get to see our fave bad boys (I love me some East), but we also get awesome cameos. The author does a great job in bringing in some favorite bikers from other authors participating n the RBMC series. As always, we get some fantastic sexy moments (so much I wanna say about this but gotta keep the review PG), some bossy alpha moments, and some very loving and emotional declarations between our favorite age gap couple. Glenna knows how to bring the heat and the passion, but also the emotions. Be prepared because if you've loved these characters as long as I have, you'll need at least one tissue. 5 Stars but wish I could give more!
