3.75 stars. Easy read. Kinky en spicy af, leest lekker door maar miste soms meer storyline
I REALLY wanted to love this book.... but I just couldn't. A friend gushed to me about how hot/steamy it was and she hadn't even finished it. While some of the scenes are well-written the plot just left something to be desired (and it wasn't a man). Some elements of the book were just ridiculous. For example, they fall for each other in a matter of days. Not to say that it is or should be impossible. The author just does so much talking (and the characters do so much THINKING) that it seems as if they're with each other for at least a few months. For the length of the book, the ending is thrown together. It comes so suddenly. There's no time for the reader's mind to calm down from all the drama. It has good parts but nothing to make me wish for a sequel.
***********Spoiler Alert***************
Ok. So, I'm thinking my previous reads (Gabriel's Inferno/Rapture and Sempre) ruined my experience for this book. For me, it lacked something... plot, depth of characters, ...I don't know. The stalker story-line, which I thought was the main story-line, wasn't really detailed; things happened and they hid and had lots of sex in a three-day period. Reading this story was like reading (watching) one of those pornos with the bad story and poor actors. I've read fan-fiction stories with better plots. The heroine got on my nerves with her whining personality and over-thinking. The hero was very pushy and aggressive; He was on the borderline of sexual assault.
This was my first read from this author and I may read something from her again in a different genre (if there is one). I gave this story three stars because it started off really good and picked up in the last two chapters. Would I recommend it to anyone?.... Honestly, after today it wouldn't even be on my radar. This one just wasn't for me.

Was hoping I wouldn't like this one so much, since there's a whole series of books and they're pretty expensive for ebooks, but damn, this author can write. Hot, poignant, amusing, nerve wracking, and so very well written, it had it all. Will definitely continue with this author.
Spice Level…Big ass bowl of peppers! BDSM. Lots of it. Decent storyline, could have achieved the ending with less back and forth of the same inner dialogue
Good read that was interesting and kept my attention.
I really enjoyed this book. At times I felt like Jack was a bit too push and I wanted to knee him. Then when Morgan left him I felt like she was a huge dumb ass since she was in danger. I felt like their sex was the fore front of this story and the other plot that was going on was tiny. Overall I liked it. And the sex was amazing!
You know Jack's in trouble from the beginning. More here.
